IPAC is constituted by a team of qualified and highly motivated public affairs professionals, coming from different backgrounds such as social work, political science, management and so on.

Mr. Narender Kumar
Executive Director :

He is a master in Social Work and has a rich experience of over 20 years. He has worked in a leadership position in many organizations whose work ranged from sustainable development to human rights. His expertise lies in social policy and engagement with public sector.
Ms. Suparva Narasimhaiah: Programme Officer

Suparva joined IPAC in September 2014. She has previous work experience with the Supreme Court of India, Ministry of External Affairs, and the United Nations. Her main areas of interests and expertise include international affairs and international law, in particular policy based issues relevant to the United Nations.

Mr. Rajkumar: Office Assistant

He joined IPAC in 2009. He supports the office administrative and procurement work. He undertakes back-end support and creative use of resources available with IPAC.


IPAC welcomes volunteers and interns from Sociology, Political Science and Social Work backgrounds to learn advocacy and lobbying skills in an intellectually stimulating and professionally satisfying environment.

  • Ms. Meera Bharadwaj: She is currently a final year student of Tata Institute of Social Work, Mumbai, India.

Group of Experts

  • Ms. Shewali Kumar, India: A gender expert who has worked with academic institutions as well development organizations. Currently she works as a faculty member at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

  • Ms. Nini Mehrotra, India: She holds a Master's Degree in Sociology. She has worked in several research based positions. She was previously a Project Director at Childline Foundation and has also several freelance assignments. She is currently working at DFID-PACS in India.

  • Mr. Udayan Mukherjee, India: He has worked for Government of India for nearly 40 yrs as a civil servant. He has recently retired and is an advisor to IPAC on core strategic issues

  • Mr. Govert van Oord, Netherlands: An engineer by education has worked in the field of lobbying, as a specialist on lobbying of all kinds. He has lobbied mainly on behalf of non-profits, but also lobbies on behalf of corporations at times. He has a good understanding of the European Union and currently runs a Lobbying organization called ENTRÉE in Netherlands.

  • Mr. Lennard Roubos, Netherlands: He is an expert on International Development Corporations. He has worked with ICCO Coalition for more than 25 years. He holds a special interest in the issues concerning natural resources management and climate change as well as civil-society building.
